Everything about the Cham2 jacket has the backcountry skier in mind. This is the lightest jacket on the market that is made with Polartec Neo Shell making it super breathable and perfect for any conditions. With updated panelling, movement is unrestricted and super flexible. The more relaxed fit works better for various layering, the pockets are large enough to hold skins and keep them warm while still being able to access them with a pack on, and the longer cut keeps the wind out and the snow from coming in. Plenty of technical features designed to make the backcountry skier or snowboarder’s life a little easier, the Cham2 from Strafe is ready for your next adventure.

Technology aside Strafe made a really good looking shell that fits well.  

Fit

The Cham2 Jacket is a longer cut for added protection and style.  The rest of the jacket is relaxed through the chest and arms keeping layering in mind.  If it feels big and you are just wearing a t-shirt, that's ok.

Style

Strafe's Cham2 jacket is a 3 Layer waterproof and breathable Polartec Neo Jacket.  

Performance Level

Polartec Neo Shell is the technology behind the Strafe Cham2 Jacket that makes the shell much more comfortable to wear when you start to perspire.  The Cham's chest pockets are placed so they can still be accessed when you have a backpack on, Strafe expects the skiers that will be wearing it will be seeking adventure beyond the chairlift.  Hiking in snow is a lot of work and breathability is something you need.  Strafe turned to Polartec who understands breathability better than the rest of the competition. 

Insulation

There is no insulation in the Cham2 Jacket.

Pockets

Two huge chest pockets that can hold gear or skins, two zippered hand pockets and an interior drop mesh pocket

Venting

Huge 18" Pit zips with a tab big enough to pull yourself so you don't have to be that guy on the chairlift asking to have your pit zips zipped or unzipped.  Cooling down quickly isn't an issue in the Strafe Cham2 Jacket.
