Yes this is a ski jacket, we got tired of people in the store trying it on and then saying, "Yea it feels great, but is it a ski jacket?" that I figured we'd just put it in the tagline. I guess what people are really asking is if a jacket that is as warm, comfortable and stylish as this can actually hold up on the mountain and the answer is absolutely yes. Still fully waterproof and breathable, Strafe made a name for themselves designing backountry-ready gear in Colorado so you know that they have the tech side of things absolutely dialed. The reason it doesn't look or feel as much like a ski jacket is because it's got some stretch to it and the fit is a little bit longer in the back, nothing wrong with either of those things. PrimaLoft Gold is one of the best forms of synthetic insulation so it's going to be really, really warm even the though the jacket itself isn't particularly that heavy. All-around a killer jacket that skis almost as great as it looks.
