The Strafe Alpha Mid Layer is a game changer in the realm of mid-layers. Made with 60g Polartec Alpha, the Alpha provides exceptional warmth and breathability for active situations without the bulkiness that comes with other puffy jackets. For being so lightweight, but providing plenty of warmth, this is a very versatile mid layer that is great to have in all sorts of conditions. Polartec Alpha is unique in that it uses a very stable insulation as opposed to most midlayers using down or a synthetic fill that tends to poke through or move around and become uneven in certain areas. As far as mid layers are concerned, the Alpha from Strafe truly is the alpha.

Fit

Freeride Fit - Not as snug fitting as other mid-layers, loose enough to be worn on it's own around town.

Style

Insulation

60g Polartec Alpha insulation – Polartec Alpha was developed for U.S. Special Operations Forces and is now available through Strafe. Unlike down or classic synthetic fill, which require the use of “closed” fabrics, Polartec Alpha is a highly stable insulation that won’t poke through or migrate.
