END OF SEASON SALE, ALL 2024 GEAR ON SALE NOW
I think it’s safe to say we’ve skied this in just about every condition possible and we approve of Sego’s Cleaver 102. It has a powerful feel underfoot that will please anyone that loves to arc turns at a high rate of speed. This powerful feel is great for those that just point it and figure it out at places such as Jackson Hole, Big Sky and Alta to name a few. The Cleaver 102 has enough guts for the charging skier, but enough rocker in the tip that an advanced skier can figure it out pretty quickly. We really loved the way it blasted through absolute garbage snow, making the day a heck of a lot more awesome.
Bottom Line: It’s solid feeling underfoot, ya dig?
Full Sidewall - UHMW Sidewalls provide the strength, durability and grip in that your require.
Poplar + Titanal – Lightweight Poplar core, with VDS rubber for dampening and vibration control, all wrapped with triaxial fiberglass --- ohhh baby! Plus some metal for stability.
Mustache Rocker - Rocker/Camber/Rocker. The Cleaver 102 has a directional rocker profile, meaning more rocker in the tip than the tail.
The Sego Cleaver 102 does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
Recommended Binding: Marker Griffon with 110 mm brake.
