Honestly we’re not exactly sure what DRX stands for, (UPDATE 04/20: It's short for Dermizax, the name of the fabric) but we are definitely sure that the Ultimate DRX is a pretty sweet jacket. The waterproof membrane in the jacket is slightly stronger and more durable than the membrane that Scott uses in some of their lower-end jackets. It’s not Gore-Tex, but it’s going to be better than the membrane found in most entry-level ski jackets. The other thing that really sets the DRX apart is the amount of pocket space. There’s never a shortage of things that you need to hold onto on the mountain; whether it’s your phone, a trail map, a snack. So with lots of pockets inside and out, you’ll be able to carry everything you need. Warm, stylish, functional. Sounds good to me.
