Scott Luna Skis 2016 // Women's

FOR AWESOME SKIER CHICKS ONLY.

The Scott Luna is a nimble and lightweight versatile ski that has a couple sheets of metal in it for outstanding grip on harder snow.  When the Luna isn't carving turns on hardpack it's probably blasting smoothly over crud or floating on top of powder with it's rockered tip and 85mm waist.  If you've skied the Kenja but want something lighter and more fun off trail the Scott Luna is the ticket.  Scott is going to turn a lot of heads this season with the Luna, rightfully so, the ski is awesome!

Construction

Sandwich Sidewall - A full vertical sidewall construction tip-to-tail provides excellent torsional rigidity and edge control.

Double Titanal - A full sheet of titanal is placed on the top and bottom of the skis wood core. This increases the ski's overall stability at higher speeds and steeper terrain.

Core

Womens Specific Core - Designed with all female skiers in mind, this core is built to be lightweight and easy to handle. This core makes the Luna lively, fun and incredibly easy to maneuver.

Shape

Venturi-Tip Rocker S - Rockered tip with camber underfoot. A small amour of rocker in the ski's tip makes the Luna super quick in-and-out of turns. The rocker also provides the skis with just enough floatation for when the snow gets deeper.

Rocker Camber Key

Tip Rocker Camber underfoot

Additional Awesomeness

Dual Radius - This makes the skis extremely versatile. A dual radius makes the Luna excel on any terrain or condition.

Factory Finish - No turning required! These bad boys come with a 3 degree side and 1 degree base angle, as well as a factory stone grind. Directly out of the wrap and onto the hill!

Binding

The Scott Luna Skis do not come with bindings. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
