Is there a big difference between the X Pro 100 and X Pro 120?

Yes. The liner in the X Pro 100 is more comfort oriented, while the X Pro 120 provides a more precise fit that feels like it’s grabbing your heel more.  The stiffness difference is quite noticeable.  

What is the difference between the X Pro 100 and X Max 100?

• The liners are different; there is 20% more thermo-moldable foam in the X-Max 100 than the X Pro 100, 60% vs 40%.

• Width, baby.  The the widest part (last) of the X Max 100 is 2 mm narrower than the X Pro 100.  The instep height is also lower on the X Max.

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

A slightly stiffer flexing 100 with a fairly progressive flex.  With Salomon's custom shell the boot can expand 6mm when heat is applied whereever the color is black (yep go ahead and take a look at the image above again).

Liner

My CustomFit 3D Perfomance Liner - More forgiving of a liner than the Lab liner in the X Max 130 with an awesome out of the box fit.  80% of the foam in this liner is thermomoldable.

3D Buckle - The buckle over the instep can be set to 3 different postions so you can walk that fine line of not too tight, just right.

24mm oversized pivot - Sounds gimmicky, looks gimmicky, it's not.  Because the 'bolt' is larger than other manufacturers it provides a better integration between the lower shell and upper cuff for increased responsiveness especially when at higher speeds or in more demanding terrain.
