Performance too often comes with a price, for snowboard bindings that is typically comfort. The script gets flipped with the Salomon Nova where many of the tech features are designed to improve comfort and enhance your riding experience. Not to say this binding doesn't perform...it certainly does. The heel cup and baseplate of the Nova are connected with a responsive joint that allows the binding to absorb some of the chatter a traditional plastic or metal piece would only make worse. Pair that with a nicely padded strap and women's specific geometry and the overall fit and feel of this binding is amazing. The Salomon Nova is a perfect entry level option or the casual rider who isn't trying to push the limits. Response, control, comfort are three of the most important things to consider, fortunately the Salomon Nova checks all the boxes.
