The Salomon MTN Explore can do it all baby.  The fully capable alpine touring boot is a solid option for women that want one ski boot for the shorter backcountry tours and the resort.  The MTN Explore isn’t just awesome because it fits well and is light, the ROM is awesome when hiking or touring and the skiability is great – driving power to the edges, allowing you to tackle the most technical steeps and chutes.  The fit is a generous 98 mm last (26.5) that should still be considered if you have had trouble in other narrower boots.  The liners will change dramtically after heat molding especially by the pinky toe.

How's the Fit: Similar room through the foot to the S/Max, but with more room in the instep.
