This is a really impressive boot for riders who want some extra flex and an overall softer feel throughout. Taking that density and stiffness makes the Salomon Launch BOA SJ a great option for park riders, intermediate riders, and cruisers. Salomon's double BOA STR8JKT system does a phenomenal job at locking you down in all the right places. The fully customizable Comfort Liner takes that exact shape of your foot with a slightly softer foam compared to others. When you lean into the boot does engage smoothly, but does not snap you back up instantly. The softer progressive flex feels great on landings and just cruising groomers. A lot of softer boots do not perform well during turns or at speed, but the Launch found a great balance between the two. The outsole is also built to keep this comfortable system in unison. Soft EVA foam and rubber outsole just keeps the good feeling working from top to bottom. 

How's the fit? A consistent fitting boot throughout with a  heavy emphasis on comfort and cushioning. Forefoot is snug, while the STR8JKT system locks your heel down better than most. Salomon is one of the best boot makers in the game and the Launch BOA SJ is no exception.
