The Fantasy Jacket from Salomon might not have the super latest and geeky technical fabrics, but what it does have is a great combination of warmth, fit, and performance to give you an all-around package you didn’t think could exist. If you’re the kind of person who’s always cold, or really if you’re just anybody here in New England you’re going to appreciate how much insulation Salomon picks in here. It’s supple warm and comfortable to wear, but for how warm it is it stays relatively light; definitely not bulky. A fully waterproof membrane keeps water out, and a removable powder skirt and a removable hood ensure that you can snap from mountain mode to city mode quickly and efficiently. None of that stuff matters if the jacket doesn’t fit well, but with a slightly tailored fit that still allows room to move around you’ll be skiing good and looking good.
