The Roxa Kara 85 Ski Boots provide a high level of both performance and comfort, and do so in a package that looks great too. Roxa’s U50 Sport Liner LS that is used in the Kara 85 is anatomically designed for the female foot and fits the foot, ankle, and calf perfectly to provide incredible comfort and optimized performance. With regard to performance, the 85 flex may be slightly understated in this boot which has been known to feel closer to a 95 flex. With that being said, the Kara 85 is super comfy, offers tons of responsiveness, and skis very similar to much more expensive boots. There aren’t many packages out there for women that are packed with as much comfort and performance as the Kara 85, and there definitely aren’t many, if any, at such a great price. 

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

The Roxa Kara 85 is a 85 flex boot.

The Kara 85 is a 102 mm last. This creates extra space at the forefront and instep, plus a wide tongue and fluted calf.

Women's Specific Cuff Height + Shape –  It has a women’s specific upper cuff that optimizes the support between the ankle and the lower leg and ensures a wider ergonomic area for a woman’s calf.

Liner

U50 Sport LS Liner – This liner was designed exclusively for the woman who demands high performance and optimal comfort. It is internally lined with Lycra and a soft waterproof fur that gives outstanding comfort and warmth. Thanks to Ultralon foam, the liner is 50% heat-moldable in the ankle area providing excellent fit in this critical area.

Buckles

6000 Series Aluminum Buckles – Strength on the few moving parts on the boots is crucial, because no one likes broken buckles.

Overlap/Hike Cuff Hybrid – Overlap shell with a hike mode for smoother walking when off your skis.

Rox Grip – Additional grip on the sole between to toes and heel for better traction when walking on slick surfaces.
