rossignol-sender-110
Rossignol Sender 110 Skis 2027

The Sender Free 110 is what happens when you take the shape and balance of a freestyle ski and give it the construction and backbone of a serious all-mountain freeride ski. There's definitely some Freeride World Tour influence here, but you don't need a contest bib or a 30-foot cliff lined up to enjoy it. This is a surprisingly accessible ski for how capable it is.

Rossignol builds the Sender Free 110 around a full poplar wood core and adds a Ti Beam through the center of the ski. The metal gives it the power and stability you'd expect from something designed to be skied fast, especially through the middle of the turn, without making the entire ski feel like a heavy sheet-metal charger.

Rossignol also uses substantial damping zones through the forebody and back of the ski rather than limiting them to just the very tips and tails. You notice that when the snow gets rough. The Sender Free 110 does a great job absorbing vibrations and staying composed through tracked-out powder and afternoon chop. Diagofiber helps balance all that damping with some energy and pop, so the ski doesn't just plow through everything in front of it.

Where things get interesting is the shape. There's a lot of twin-tip influence here, along with a more centered mount point and a relatively balanced feel from tip to tail. For a 110 mm ski with this much horsepower, it's incredibly easy to pivot, slash, and change direction. You can drive it hard through the front of your boots, but you can also get more neutral, release the tails, and let the ski move underneath you.

That's ultimately what makes the Sender Free 110 so much fun. There are plenty of 110-ish skis that are great in powder and plenty that can charge through crud. There aren't nearly as many that can do both of those things while still feeling this playful and balanced.

If you're looking for a ski to make three perfect groomer turns before lunch, there are better choices. If you're looking at six inches of fresh snow that's going to turn into chopped-up leftovers by 11:00 and want the same ski to be fun through all of it, the Sender Free 110 is pretty dang good.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0604/7046/0495/files/rossignol-sender-110-skis-2027-the-ski-monster.png?v=1787234787
