Mellow flex and a direction shape come together to make the Compact an easygoing all-mountain board perfect for transitioning from rentals or for the casual rider who is just looking to have a good time. The build of the Compact allows for a mellow feel that doesn’t take any extra work to cruise on. It’s light and it bends easily, so even a new rider will find the board to comply with whichever direction they want it to go. This is going to help progression, or just make it way easier for someone who already knows how to shred. 

The slightly directional shape creates a big nose and sets your stance a little bit more toward the back of the board. This gives the board the ability to handle turbulent snowpack in a way that you won’t even notice. A little camber bend in the board helps to grip on icy conditions and provides great edge hold and control. Who's this board for? New riders who want something they won't immediately grow out of. Progressing intermediates who still want a board that's on the easier end of the spectrum. 

Who isn't this board for? Riders who like to straight line. This board does not have very much high-speed confidence.
