Rab has an extensive line up of super technical jackets that are capable of keeping you warm on the world's tallest summits. However recently they took what they learned on top of the world and applied it to the city streets. The Sanctuary Jacket is a hydrophobic down piece that has all the gusto of a technical garment, only with so much more style. This jacket  has a detachable down filled hood and a stitch through baffle construction. Under the hood you will find 650 fill power hydrophobic down that is treated during processing. After the treatment is applied, the down absorbs less water, dries faster, and better retains its loft in wet or highly active conditions. The inside of this coat is 100% ripstop nylon and the outside is a lightweight polyester dobby fabric. If there is one downfall to this coat it is weather proofing. The polyester fabric is shower and wind resistant, but you shouldn’t expect it to keep you dry in a downpour.  All zippers are YKK and the front zipper is a Metaluxe zipper that looks like a metal zipper but it's actually plastic so it's much lighter. There are two pockets on the outside and one pocket on the inside to keep all of your valuables safe. The cuffs are a blend of elastic with velcro and there are drawcords in the hood and hem to seal out the cold when you need it. We think the Rab Sanctuary Jacket is one of the most stylish down coats of 2017, get one home and you might think so too.

Insulation

650 Fill Hydrophobic Down - The Sanctuary Jacket is filled with fluorocarbon free, hydrophobic down that will resist moisture to better insulate you when conditions get wet. All of the down is European Goose down and there is 9oz of fill in the size large.

Pockets

This jacket has two zippered hand warmer pockets on the outside and one zippered security pocket on the inside.
