Waterproofing prevents exterior moisture from reaching the pant’s insulation, and vapor transmission prevents overheating during periods of work.

Insulation

Thermogreen Synthetic Insulation - By using a mixture of 60g and 100g synthetic insulation, the Women's Insulated Powder Bowl Jacket traps body heat without unnecessary bulk. This polyester insulation performs even when wet, and contains at least 90% recycled fibers. 

Pockets

Exterior - Hand warmer pockets protect your paws when your walking to dinner in your favorite ski town, and provide a bit of accessible storage for the essentials. A napoleon chest pocket features a storm flap, which combined with a waterproof YKK zip provides reliably weatherproof cell phone storage. An RFID pass pocket lets you keep your gloves on in the lift line, and alleviates the need for that awkward lateral hip thrust that we've all done to try to get our pass read. Watertight YKK Zips fortify all of the exterior pockets.
