The 800 fill power goose down can be traced back to birds that were never force-fed or live-plucked. The main zipper is made by Vislon, so you know it's reliable, and an interior storm flap serves as back up weater proofing. The jacket is constructed with ripstop polyester that will keep the wind out. Keeping with the lightweight program, you will find elastic cuffs without any velcro. The hem at the bottom cinches with a drawcord that pulls from the pocket. Patagonia practically reinvented the mid-layer category, and the Down Sweater remains a 1%'er in the category.

Fit

Regular Fit - The Down Sweater Hoody gives you enough space for a capilene layer or regulator fleece, but doesn’t wear ultra baggy.

Insulation

800 Fill Down - Sourced from non-live-plucked, non-force-fed birds. The packability of down reigns supreme and it’s ability to insulate at extremely low weight is thus far unmatched by synthetic insulation. Fill Power refers to the capacity of the insulation to trap heat, and 800 Fill is darn near the very finest available.
