WICKED WARM.

Outdoor Research redefines what a down ski jacket is supposed to fit and feel like.  The women's Stormbound features an articulated elbow so it doesn't feel as bunched up on the arm like most down jackets do when the arm is bent at 90 degrees.  The Stormbound jacket is actually comfortable to ski in.  With 650 Power Fill down insulation through out the entire jacket and additional insulation on the seat you'll be toasty warm.  

Skiing in a down jacket is a great option if you get cold easily the Stormbound is a great ski jacket with a slightly tailored look and fit.  It looks more tailored than most down jackets.  Warm, waterproof and breathable.

Fit

The Stormbound Down Jacket is a relaxed fit so you'll have plenty of room for layering or just a more comfortable less tailored fit.

This is Pertex+ 2Layer waterproof and breathable insulated down jacket.

Performance Level

It has a harder feeling shell than most down ski jackets so it is less susceptible to damage when skiing in trees.  The name of the game with the Stormbound down jacket is warmth, if you want to be warm and have good mobility unlike any other down jacket look no further.

Insulation

650 Fill Power Down through out the body sleeves and hood.  Additional polyester insulation on backseat so you'll be warmer on the chairlift.  

Pockets

Two Napoleon Pockets; one with pass through access and one with media port.  Two zippered hand pockets and a lift ticket pocket on the sleeve.

Venting

Chest to Hip zippered vent.  Since the vent starts on the chest and works its way to the hip you get maximum ventilation.

Additional Awesomeness

Added insulation in the hand pockets.  If you wear the Stormbound walking to work and forget a pair of gloves, no problem you have 100g/m².
