When you are getting after it in the side country you can feel the power of the mountains. The weather changes quickly, winds can pick up fast above tree line, and large cloud masses can chance conditions in the blink of an eye. As a snowboarder, you definitely have less options when it comes to carry systems and many of them don’t efficiently carry a board that can quickly become a sail in high winds. The Method pack from Orion is pretty much advil for snowboard carry headaches. The other packs have wimpy straps but that is not the case with the Method. Once you peal back the velcro you will know this bag means business. The gear compartment rests on top of the board keeping your shred stick as close to your back as possible. This is super helpful in high winds because the board is super stable at a 45 degree angle. The attached gear compartment is expandable just by zipping a zipper. Fabric

Fit

Large - Fits men 6’1” and taller

Medium - Fits men 5’8” - 6’0”

Board Carry Style

Angled Board Carry - There are two beefy velcro straps to secure the load to your back. The board is carried at a 45 degree angle to cut down on drag and keep the board out of your way. The slant to the board is perfect for weaving your way through tight trees on narrow trails.

Pockets

Hip Belt - There are two zippered pockets on the hip belt that can hold small items that you might need to access quickly.

Zippered Mesh Pocket - Located on the lower right side of the bag just below the snowboard there is a zippered mesh pocket. This pocket is perfect for organizing things that you need on the fly because everything can be easily seen.

Expandable Gear Pocket - Located directly over the snowboard carry straps is an expandable zippered gear pocket. It has two slots on either side to organize your probe and shovel handle. On the inside there is a clip ho help hold your hydration bladder in place. Located on the very outside of this pod is a small zippered pocket to keep loose items in their place.
