ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2018

ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2018

ON3P Billy Goat Skis 2018

ONE BURLY POW STICK.

Test Locations: Big Sky MT.

The Billy Goat is among the stiffest powder skis we've ever skied, yea seriously.  It has a shape and profile that would lead you to believe its' going to be soft and buttery but it's got more gusto than the Blizzard Cochise.  ON3P built the Billy Goat for dudes that want a solid feeling ski that will still feel solid when the conditions are anything but.  Stiffer skis tend to be more predictable, which cuts down on the variables when venturing into the unpredicatable.  The skis float really, really well and feel really stable when charging down steeper bowls/faces.

Botton Line: If you're looking for a forgiving powder ski, the Billy Goat isn't it -- it's built for a Boss.

Construction

Full Sidewall - Tip to tail ABS sidewall construction.

Core

Bamboo with Carbon Stringers - Durable and lively bamboo combined with the added snap of Carbon gives the Kartel 98 the power you need to dominate ice without all the weight.

Shape

Freeride Rocker - A higher rocker profile in the shovel than the tail, keeps the tips up when the snow starts to fall in excess.

Additional Awesomeness

Nylon Top Sheet - If you're interested in ON3P, you most definitely beat the crap out of your gear.  This top sheet will keep your skis looking prettier, looking good is a must.

Binding

The ON3P Kartel 98 does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.

Recommended Binding: Marker Jester.
