These should be a go to for anyone making waves in the backcountry. These pants have a loose fit so you can layer up, but they are not overly park protege baggy. Norrona has chosen the most durable nylon face fabric and combined it with a tough woven liner to create a pant that will not only stand up to thousands of chairlift rides but also thousands of miles in the backcountry. The removable soft-shell bib will keep you from overheating and keep the snow out at the same time. The long two-way side zips make it really easy to get your ski boots on and they also help you dump heat quickly. The cuffs are the beefiest part and they have two snap settings so you can tighten them up and get your pants out of the way of your crampons. .
