Nordica Strider 115 W Ski Boots 2020 // Women's

MAKING STRIDES

Flex: 115 // Weight: 1610 grams @ 26.5 centimeters // 100 mm last @ 26.5

Gripwalk // Dynafit Inserts

Nordica killed it with the new Strider 115 boot for 2020. Hybrid touring boots that give you touring capability on the uphill but a stiff, dialed in feel on the downhill are all the rage today and it’s easy to see why; who wouldn’t want a boot that can truly do everything well? What makes the Strider pretty awesome though is it’s relatively forgiving 100mm last. If you’ve tried on any of the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD, Lange XT Free LV, or even a Tecnica Cochise and they felt too snug up at the front of your foot either length-wise or width-wise the Strider is going to be awesome. It’ll feel a little bit wider and a bit longer, but still nice and locked in around the heel, which is where it matters more than anywhere else. In terms of how it skis, it’ll be pretty similar to the other boots mentioned, absolutely crushes it on the downhill and perfect for the occasional side or backcountry tour. If you’re seriously going to be touring over 50-60% of the time there are lighter boots but they won’t ski nearly as well. All in all a top-notch boot in the most popular new category of skiing. If you’ve had Nordica SpeedMachines for downhill boots in the past and they fit, these will too.

Grilamid Shell + Triax Cuff

2 Piece Overlap

Designed by: Nordica // Built by: Nordica, Italy

TLDR: A stiff, uphill-capable boot that fits wider than just about everything in its class.

Binding Compatibility: GripWalk compatible bindings; Dynafit Inserts

Buying Tip: If you’re in-between sizes don’t be afraid to size down, these feel longer in the toes than most.
