The super easy to put on Nordica SpeedMachine 85W is the comfort you've been looking for with the performance you require. If you think the Mach1 is a little to snug in the ankle but the forefoot is good you'll like the way the SpeedMachine 85W fits, it'll feel a little more snug than the Salomon S/Pro too.  The upper cuff is low enough to be more accommodating for stronger calves so you want get that nasty leg bite especially when your legs get tired.  

The lateral response is off the charts for an 85 flex ski boot, making the SpeedMachine 85W an awesome option for progressing intermediates.

Tough to fit feet will really enjoy the heat moldable shell and liner -- bunyans, boney ankles no problem.
