Edge grip and and maneuverability have long maintained an inverse relationship. The strength to weight ratio of the Santa Ana’s balsa wood core elevates your skiing the moment you click in. Performance = Stiffness @ Low Weight - It’s dang science. Nordica has developed a sidecut shape that has changed the way skiers think about effective edge length, and contact points. By bringing the widest part of the tip closer to the mounting position and softening the taper in both the tip and tail of the Santa Ana and Enforcer Skis, Nordica is allowing riders to utilize an effective edge length that increases along with your edge angle, maximizing your control at speed and ability to bring the tails around in tight or technical spots. The 2017 model was a Balsa core, but didn’t have metal laminates.  The new Santa Ana is a true expert level women's ski, not just expert level marketing, this Santa Ana is the real deal.  For women that have lost faith in womens skis go Santa Ana, 2018 and beyond that is.
