Nordica Astral 84 Skis 2019 // Women's

The Nordica Astral 84 skis have an on-trail focused design with ambition to seek more diverse terrain. Nordica builds the Astral 84 with their new Titanium Hex Bridge construction. The new Hex design reduces the skis weight without sacrificing overall stability. Nordica does this by sandwiching a full wood core with a honey comb metal laminate. This construction layout provides the Astral 84 with a super-fun, energetic feel! The ski’s tip and tail shape also make it easy to turn on groomed snow, as well as incredibly stable at speed. The women’s specific Astral 84 is a perfect ski for female skiers that are looking to improve their skills while having an absolute blast!

Full Sidewall - Tip to tail ABS sidewall construction provides a solid stable feel on every type of terrain.

Santa Ana Inspired Tip - This tip shape helps to facilitate a quick and easy turning sensation, as well as provide a locked in edge feel on groomed snow.

Sentra Inspired Tail - A squared off tail provides increased edge hold while carving turns. It also helps to create more power and energy at the end of the turn.

Titanium Hex Bridge - The Torsion Hex Bridge (Honey-Comb Milled Metal Laminate) gives the skis full metal laminate feel but without all the added weight. Enough metal for the ex-racers and a low enough weight to consider throwing an AT binding on it. Also helps to dampen pesky vibrations and snow chatter.

Energy 2 Titanium Balsa - Stemming from Nordica's World Cup construction the Balsa woodcore is sandwiched between two sheets of titanal.

All Mountain CamROCK! - 25% Rocker in the tip and 5% in the tail give these skis an easier turning feel in variable snow conditions, and allow you to more quickly engage the edge on hard snow.

The Nordica Astral 84 women’s skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at
