Considered one of the most sought-after boards in the world on the men’s side, the all new Never Summer Women’s Proto Type Two takes all that same tech and uses it to craft one of the most unique and versatile decks in all of women’s snowboarding. Never Summer uses a rocker-camber profile in all of their snowboards, but now equips the Women’s Proto Type Two with Ripsaw Rocker Camber - same as the men’s. What this means is that the camber zones on the board are extended. More camber = more grip on hard snow, allowing for much stronger carves. This change in the board’s shape was huge because the added camber in the “new” Proto Type Two only sacrificed a tiny amount of performance in deep powder, but the gains on hardpack were huge. When you take that new rocker-camber profile and combine it with mid-flex feel and an asymmetrical sidecut that makes turn initiation and edge hold on your heel side way easier than it’s ever been before, you’ll see why this board is quickly becoming an all-timer for its ability to shred everything on the mountain and to give something from all riders intermediate to expert something to enjoy.
