The Hueco 35L Backpack is a great pack for day hikes that don't require more than a day's worth of gear or for bouldering.  The pocket position on the Hueco is great and easy to grab a drink of water from either of the oversized pockets on the side of the bag.  The back of the pack employs Mountain Hardwear's hardwave suspension that conforms to the curvature of your back for added comfort -- the padded straps are great too.  Packing and unpacking is quick and painless, the zip-top access is huge and the pull strap inside makes it even easier.

100% Nylon - Body Fabric 840D HT Ballistic Nylon, Fabric Accents 400D Nylon, Fabric Bottom 400D HD Nylon.  

Fit

The 35L Hueco backpack comes in one size and it fits most people.

Pockets

Oversized Deep Water Bottle Pockets - On both sides of the pack are two deep water bottle pockets, so as you're hopping from rock to rock you don't have to worry about a larger water bottle falling out.  You can also use these pockets for other gear that you want to be able to access easily.

Brain/Security Pocket - On top of the zippered main compartment is the 'brain pocket' that has another zippered security pocket.  The security pocket is great for car keys and wallets or other essential item that you don't want to lose during your day hike/climb.  The rest of the brain pocket is great for anything you want to be able to grab easily and quickly.

Main Compartment - Accessible from the top, stuff all your gear though the top and if it's a 'little too big' grab on to the strap inside the bag to have an easier time of it.  

Hydro Sleeve - If you're a city dweller you'll think it's a laptop sleeve, if your an outdoorsman you'll know it's where you should put your H2O bladder.

Additional Awesomeness

Load Compression Straps - As expected in a climbing pack of this caliber are side compression straps that keep the load you're carrying still and secure.

Dual Ice Axe/Trekking Pole Carry - Two elastic loops at the top of the bag keep them from moving around thus making for a more efficient hike or climb.
