Dude, it’s 2018 (or maybe by the time you’re reading this it’s 2019; #future) it’s time to ditch the old ski pants and upgrade to a sweet pair of bib pants. Trust me, your body will thank you on deep powder days when there’s no more snow riding up underneath your jacket. Plus bibs just look sick anyway. Marmot’s Spire Bib is made from 3-Layer Gore-Tex so it’s top notch when it comes to waterproofing, and might feel a little warmer despite being just a shell because Gore-Tex typically does a better job of trapping heat within the garment. Also the suspenders are removable if for some reason you wanted to ditch them - I personally couldn’t see why, though.
