SAVE YOUR “I’M SICK” EXCUSES UNTIL DECEMBER.

When you wake up and really don’t want to go to school, don’t fake sick unless the snow is flying! The Line Sick Day Shorty is a shred-it-all ski that is perfect for hard-charging junior skiers. The skis are super fun in virtually every condition imaginable. A 4D Fibercap construction and a full woodcore, make the Sick Day Shorty super light and responsive, as well as incredible stable at speed. Line’s Early Rise rocker profile makes the skis easy-to-maneuver in bumps and trees, and it also provides increased flotation in softer snow conditions. The Line Sick Day Shorty’s are a energetic and lively pair of skis that shred all the terrain you can possibly throw at it.

Construction

4D Fibercap Construction -  A full cap construction that has 4-directions of fiberglass wrapping around the core. This gives the junior skis a lightweight feel, without sacrificing durability and strength.

Core

Maplelite Macroblock - A full wood core that features both maple and aspen wood. Maple is placed under the binding area for stability, and aspen is used in the ski’s tip and tail for a lighter weight feel and reduced swing weight.

Shape

Early Rise - A slight rise in the tip and tail results in easy turn initiation and increased float in soft snow.

Early Taper - The widest point of the ski’s sidecut starts tapering-in early to prevent hooking and allow for smoother turn entry and exit.

Base / Edges

2 x 2.15 mm Edge - Pretty standard edge construction. Solid and durable.

Extruded Base - This base material is fast and easy to maintain.

Additional Awesomeness

Directional Flex - A softer flex in the tip for better floatation an easy turn initiation, and stiffer flex in the tail for a snappy, energetic feel. The stiffer tail also provides stability and control at higher speeds.

5-Cut Geometry -  Line blends 5 different sized sidecuts radius shapes into all of their skis This allows the skier to have the unrivaled control and unlimited turn shapes.

Binding

The 2016 Line Sick Day Shorty kid’s skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
