Line Sick Day 102 Skis 2017

Line Sick Day 102 Skis 2017

BETTER CALL IN SICK IF YOU'RE RUNNING A 102.

An awesome all-mountain ski regardless of being on the left or right side of the country.  The nimble 102 mm waist floats a bit more like a 110, but maintains the stability you’d expect out of it’s waist width. The 102 skis very similarly to the Sick Day 95 as far as turn intiation goes, but with the additional waist and additional 8mm of rocker in the tip it floats quite a bit better.  What has made the Sick Day series so successful is there ability to ski well on the frontside and be an awesome ski when heading out of bounds.  Floats better than the Volkl 90Eight and is more forgiving than the Nordica Enforcer 100.

Versatility, fun, speed and float is what you get.  Have fun shredding the trees and nuking the blues with these skis, the Sick Day 102's rip!

Construction

Capwall - A combination of cap and full sidewall construction. Sidewall is placed directly over the edges for increased edge hold, while cap construction runs the length of the ski helping to reduce weight and increase response.

Core

MapleElite Macroblock - This core is a blend of both Aspen and Maple wood. Maple is placed underfoot for power and stability, and Aspen is located in the tip and tail for easy turn initiation and reduced weight.

Shape

Early Rise - Tip and tail early rise provide the skis with superior float in powder, as well as effortless turn initiation regardless of snow condition.

Early Taper - The skis widest points are tapered earlier to provide a more predicable tip in soft snow and help eliminate tail hang-up.

Additional Awesomeness

Thin Tip - An incredibly thin wood core and sidewall are placed in the tip of ski for supreme weight reduction.

Directional Flex - Softer tip, Stiffer tail. A softer tip floats better and turns easier, while a stiffer tail provides energy and power.

Binding

The Line Sick Day 102 does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.

Recommended Binding: Marker Griffon ID with 110 mm brake (Can’t go wrong with either color)
