The Pescado is a 100% pow day fun stick, the Sakana is a more realistic shape that will hang a bit better when going from sick zone to cat walk to connecting trail to sick zone. Having a slug for a ski in between isn't a ton of fun and the snow isn't always super deep, that's where the Sakana comes in. Pollard did a killer job on the shape and flex, maintaining a surfy, slarvy ski in a narrower 105 mm waist. The swallow tail does a couple things for ya, keeps the tips up and makes the Sakana's a bit looser feeling in the tails, due to less torsional strength. It's the coolest looking powder ski, you can get, so yea.

TLDR: The tail isn't as weird as you think it is. The turn radius is refreshing, sub 17 m at 105 mm.
Recommended Binding: The Line Sakana's do NOT include a binding -- the best skis come flat.
