Line Pescado Skis 2019

Line Pescado Skis 2019

Line Pescado Skis 2019

SASHIMI GRADE POWDER SKIS.

Comes in one size and one size only, 180cm.  The Pescado is a directional powder ski that feels nice and loose in the tail and is the ski you want to have when you make that inevitable trip to Japan -- it's fitting anyway, the seafood there is fantastic.  More directional than Eric Pollard's other designs like the Mordecai or Sir Francis Bacon, this is a powder ski for people that just love skiing and want to be prepared when the storm comes in.

If you haven't skied or snowboarded on a fish tail, it's really cool how much it sinks down allowing the tips to stay up and when it's really deep and you're moving it's cool how well it tracks -- getting stoked talking about.  Japan Please.

Construction

Sidewall - A full length bamboo sidewall runs from tip to tail for a softer feel and to keep weight down.  It's a powder ski added stability not necessary.

Core

Parltly Cloudy Core - A blend of light wood is the best strength to weight ratio in all the Line wood cores.

Shape

Early Rise - Tip and tail early rise provide the skis with superior float in powder, as well as effortless turn initiation in the deepest snow you can find.  20mm of rocker in the tip and 1mm in the tail.

Additional Awesomeness

Symmetric Flex - The flex pattern of the ski is identical in-front and behind your boot. This allows the skis to easily accommodate any terrain, as well as perform equally well when skiing switch.

Early Taper - The skis widest points are tapered earlier to provide a more predicable tip in soft snow and help eliminate tail hang-up.

Thin Tip - An incredibly thin wood core and sidewall are placed in the tip of ski for supreme weight reduction.

Binding

The Line Pescado does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring etc.). Be sure the brake width is about 130mm for the Pescado and the release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.

Recommended Binding: Marker Griffon.
