K2’s Spyre 100 women’s ski boots kill in every category. Designed with the needs of avid skiers in mind, K2 hasn’t forgotten that everybody wants to be warm and comfortable out there, regardless of their skiing ability. Intermediate skiers find that the Spyre 100 boots offer the energy absorption ability to help you recover from an unexpected bump or slightly off-balanced turn, while more experienced women enjoy the precision that results from the Powerfuse Spyne and energy interlock systems. At 100 millimeters in the forefoot the Spyre 100 fits most women - The exception being those with a particularly high instep (If this sounds like you then hit 'back',  the Dalbello Kyra 95 is a sure bet). Pressure points are relieved during the molding process thanks to Intuition’s LuxFit foam liner. Intuition takes foam boot liners extremely seriously, as evidenced by their continually increasing partnerships with ski boot manufacturers.

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

Powerfuse Spyne with Energy Interlock - Energy interlock sets the Spyre 100 apart from other performance women's ski boots. It may flex slightly softer than other 100's but it is stiffer laterally because of K2's interlock design. Other 100 flex boots use rivets to connect the upper and lower shells, resulting in increased stress on the boot and lesser lateral stiffness. At the standard volume of 100 mm's in the forefoot, this Spyre 100 ski boot is tailored to feet of average width. K2 pre-punches the area around the navicular bone, giving their boots an impressively ergonomic fit. If you're familiar with Intuition you know that in most cases these liners require heat molding (as opposed to it being an option).

Liner

INTUITION LuxFit  Liner - This intuition liner is designed to be molded to your foot prior to use. High density foam requires more heat than the cushier stuff, but the extra time spent pays off. The ability of intuition foam to redistribute between the boot shell and your foot delivers a fit and liner shape that is as unique as your foot itself.

Buckles

Four Buckles - Yea! obviously! Four buckle boots deliver efficient energy transfer and precise control over your skis, giving you the ability to drive the ski edge securely into a firm snow surface or bring your tails around in a hurry as you navigate the bumps, pow or trees.

Additional Awesomeness

Cuff alignment has never been easier to tinker with. K2 makes changing the angles of your boot cuffs simple by clearly marking each of the three settings. An included tool handles the adjustment in less than a minute.
