What we look for in a goggle (aside from color) comes down to fit and function. A goggle that doesn’t work with the shape of your face is a goggle that isn’t gonna work, and a lens you can’t figure out how to change is a lens that you aren’t going to use. Fit and lens exchange were clear priorities in the creation of the K2 Source Z goggle, and for that reason (along with the price) they are tough to pass over. Standard fit refers mainly to the overall size. The Source goggle takes medium fit a couple steps further with a pillowed nose bridge and removable outriggers for comfort that suits both over and under-helmet strap use. An included case protects both of the Carl Zeiss polycarbonate spherical lenses, which are stronger, thinner, and clearer than traditional plastic lenses. Lens exchange is about as easy with the Source Z Goggle as it is with any. Just before you throw your skis over your shoulder, or your board under your arm, select the appropriate lens, pop it in and be on your way.

Fit/Foam 

Standard Fit - The K2 Source Z Goggles feature a medium size frame with removable outriggers, for a precise fit whether you wear the strap over or under your helmet.

Foam - Super comfy face foam gives the K2 Source Goggle all-day wearability. A pillowed nose bridge increases comfort and prevents pinching.

Lens

Lava - 83% VLT (For low light conditions)

Sonar - 28% VLT (For high sun conditions)

Carl Zeiss Polycarbonate Lens w/ Anti-Scratch Coating - Used in safety eyewear, polycarbonate lenses are highly impact resistant, and up to 20% thinner and lighter than standard plastic lenses.

Spherical Lens by Zeiss - The enduring clarity and scratch resistance of Zeiss lenses are the product of 150 years of lens making, and rigorous quality control testing. Spherical lenses are used in precision optics because they replicate the shape of the eye. The increased interior volume created by the spherical shape minimizes goggle fog.

Strap

Adjustable Strap - The strap of the Source Z adjusts to fit under or around any helmet.

Additional Awesomeness

Removable Outriggers - Removable outriggers equip the Source Z Goggle two separate fits and two separate looks. Outriggers eliminate gaper gap when you wear your goggle strap over your helmet. Removing the outriggers creates the lower profile look an fit that you need to get the goggle strap under your lid.

EZ Swap Lens - The ease of lens exchange results from the large, easy to work with connection points along the goggle frame. If swapping the lens isn’t simple, then you’re going to do it a lot less.

Soft Shell Goggle Jacket - An included case makes maximizing the life of your goggles pretty easy. A huge amount of goggle lens scratches occur during storage or transport. This beefy soft shell case defends against scratches and impacts on the way to and from.
