END OF SEASON SALE, ALL 2024 GEAR ON SALE NOW

K2 Mindbender 99 Ti Skis 2024

Nice turn initiation and a strong feel underfoot. They feel powerful on firm snow and steep terrain but have enough energy to pivot through some tighter terrain. At 100mm underfoot, it doesn't matter if there's no new snow or a few inches of fresh.

A beastly ski that doesn't care about the conditions or terrain.

UPGRADES.

The whole Mindbender series was upgraded for last season and every ski is in a totally different league than the old versions, including the 99 Ti. This is a beast of a ski, but only in the best ways. At 99mm underfoot these skis like some soft snow and they have a profile that allows them to be smeared and slashed through tight terrain or bumps. The old Mindbenders were a bear in the trees and took a very strong skier to steer them the right way, the new ones are a little softer and can be driven through tight terrain more easily. On firm snow and steeper terrain, the new 99 Ti really comes to life. It has a strong and powerful feel but they aren't as planky or dead. Turn initiation is less work and skiing these at lower speeds, or on low-angle terrain is better than the older model. If you're skiing a wide range of terrain but want a wider, more powerful ski that does well on groomers, the Mindbender 99 Ti is for you. If you're a less experienced skier don't let the history of these skis scare you away. These are more accessible.

Who's this ski for? Skiers who like to explore the whole mountain but can appreciate power and stability underfoot.

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers looking for the most playful or approachable option.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

This ski wants to go fast but is light enough in the tips and tails that it doesn't feel too damp at lower speeds. Great for anyone who wants a powerful ski in the 100mm category. This ski holds up great on groomers and absorbs chatter very smoothly.
