Jones Ultra Mind Expander Snowboard 2022

The Jones Ultra Mind Expander takes its shape from the original Mind Expander, but has camber underfoot rather than a flat base with a stronger core. That's gonna give you a less playful feel with much more stability at speed. Camber also provides a more powerful carve with increased grip from start to finish. Now the shape is what makes this board awesome. Plenty of taper combined with a long nose and short tail gains you access to every inch of the mountain. The additional reinforcement from the Basalt Stringer, extra hardwood stringers, and Carbon Fiber keeps the board very comfortable at higher speeds. Boards with less inside the core tend to become chattery at speed with lots of vibration. The Ultra Mind Expander does an amazing job at absorbing vibrations that results in less fatigue on both you body and feet. Directional shaped boards are awesome for riders that spend time on and off the trail. Big rocker nose and the short rail offers a ton of maneuverability for a stiffer board. Blending the comfort of high speed trail performance and agility in tight spots is hard to achieve. Fortunately the Ultra Mind Expander is impressive in all conditions and types of snow. Taper, which means wider nose compared to the tail, makes this an awesome option as a powder board. Sounds too good to be true, but the Jones Ultra Mind Expander does everything you need a board to do and then some. Trees, chutes, trails, and even pow, this board is checking all the boxes. Pro Tip: Want a more playful feel with a similar shape...the Jones Mind Expander is the more flexible and agile counterpart.
