The Orion is a mid-flex binding that's gonna be a sick option for a variety of riding styles. A beginner rider whose just trying to figure it out will appreciate how forgiving and approachable it feels, intermediate riders who prioritize just having a good time over becoming the best snowboarder on the mountain will appreciate how undemanding it is, and riders with a more playful, freestyle approach will love its mellow flex pattern. The Orion, along with every Jones Binding, features a Skate-Tech chassis designed to enhance energy transmission between your binding and snowboard. Skate-Tech bindings incorporate a compact, circular base plate positioned horizontally between the binding's footbed and the board. This base plate will subtly pivot depending on the distribution of your weight. The outcome is a boost in energy transfer, creating smoother and easier turn initiation, while also reducing foot fatigue. On the Orion, that feels like increased predictability and makes maneuvering your board and initiating a turn even more effortless. The Orion is loaded with features that come together to make one of the most exciting packages in the mid-flex range.
