That tagline might be a bit of stretch, but the Micro-Elite Crew Neck will definitely keep you comfortable.  It's focus is not just on warmth but comfort, some base layers just make you feel hot and don't breathe well, that's not comfortable this Hot Chillys is.  Skiers and snowboarders obviously need to be warm, but you also don't want your base layer to hold you back when you're trying to send it down a new zone.  The Micro-Elite Chamois 4-way stretch fabric hugs the body comfortably while being able to stretch where and when it needs to.  Unlike many other 4-way stretch base layers this piece is a little bit longer in the back so you can tuck it and it'll stay tucked -- huge for those cold chairlift rides 

Fit

Body Fit - The more contact that your base layer makes with your skin, the more effective it will be at retaining body heat, and managing moisture.

Material

Synthetic blend of Polyester and Spandex.

Hot Chillys' MTF or Moisture Tranfer Fibers move sweat away from the skin, in turn you stay warm, dry and comfortable.

Bio-Silver - By adding fabric with similar qualities to silver the Micro-Elite Chamois is more odor resistant than merino base layers options. 

4-way Stretch - With a strechier fabric it cuts down on bulk, performs better and doesn't hinder range of motion.

Performance

On Hot Chillys' warmth scale the Micro-Elite Chamois is an 8 out of 10.  The La Montana is the warmest in the line at a warmth rating of 10.  

Additional Awesomeness

The back of the shirt hangs a little bit lower to make layering easier.  Ya know how some base layers ride up and expose your back, the Micro-Elite Chamois doesn't do that, you'll be much happier while skiing or sitting on a cold stopped chairlift.

The collar is also set in to look more like a long sleeve shirt -- SICK!
