I usually wear shell jackets, is this going to be breathable enough?

While shell jackets have a reputation for offering more when it comes to waterproofing/breathability, the Alpha 3.0 Jacket is an insulated jacket that bucks this trend. The Primaloft insulation functions just as well in wet conditions, and the waterproof membrane that Helly uses is waterproof and breathable in even the worst conditions. This is truly a do-it-all jacket that doesn’t sacrifice a single thing. 

What's the difference between 2-Way Stretch and 4-Way Stretch? 

Stretch fabrics are constructed in either two or four way stretch. Two-Way Stretch means that the fibers in the jacket will stretch lengthwise, while Four-Way means that the fibers will stretch both lengthwise and crosswise, giving you more mobility. The Alpha 3.0 features 4-Way Stretch.
