The Higgins is the meanest soft shell going. It's almost a shame to call it a soft shell because this is really a stretchy and comfortable three layer hard shell. The jacket is tricked out with all YKK waterproof zippers and a brushed tricot lining that feels soft on your skin. You get a helmet compatible hood, no bulk cuffs, six pockets and lots of swagger. Buy this coat, you’ll be happy you did.
The Flylow Freeride Fit is a good one. Not too baggy but plenty of room to layer up and just enough length to keep the bad weather out.
The Higgins Jacket is a 3-Layer Stretch Stormshell made with Intuitive fabric.
20K/20K waterproof breathable membrane that stretches and moves with you.
No insulation in the Higgins Soft Shell
There are six total pockets on this coat. Two hand warmer pockets, one napoleon chest pocket with media compatibility and three inside the coat that are big enough to fit goggles, skins or snacks.
Flylow uses extra large underarm pit zips that have great pull tags to make them super easy open and close.
