It's always a bit nerve racking when a company decides to overall a tried and true product, that's also one of your favorite skis ever.  The Ranger 108 Ti is done and has been updated in every facet possible.  With more metal and a little less rocker the skis will be less nervous on harder snow or as you gas it through the chunder.  While the ski is predictable and solid feeling, it carves a mean turn regardless of snow conditions.  The Ranger 107 Ti is the go to weapon for the majority of skiers at The Ski Monster, Fischer did a great job revamping the skis.

How does the Ranger 107 perform as an all-mountain ski?

It skis really well, nimble enough that you don't feel like the ski needs to be going mach1 in order to turn.  They are a ton of fun to carve on for being super stable they don't feel dead.  And of course if it pounds snow, you'll be floating near the top -- right where you want to be.

Why is the Ranger 107 Ti heavier than it's predecessor the Ranger 108 Ti.

There is more metal in the skis. The previous Ranger Ti's only had metal in the binding area, the new Ranger 107 Ti is metal tip to tail.

TLDR: A ski monster favorite, that everyone here has owned and used... Pretty much a daily driver for us.
