They are built to handle every situation on the mountain. The Prodigy W have a super playful wood core that is combined with an easy-skiing rocker profile. It’s this combo that gives the skis their stability at speed, without sacrificing a quick and nimble feel through bumps and trees. The Prodigy W’s rocker shape also makes surfing through deep snow effortless, so don’t be afraid to use these as your weapon of choice on big dump days.

Construction

Sidewall Construction - A full sidewall construction provides excellent edge hold and increases the skis overall torsional strength.

Micro-Cap - This helps to reduce the skis overall weight, as well as keeps the top sheets looking clean.

Core

Poplar/Beech Core - This full wood core offers an excellent balance of power, energy and stability. This particular core form Faction provides great edge hold on hardback snow conditions. Ideal for skiers that love to charge both on and off trail.

Shape

Rocker/Camber/Rocker - 340 mm of rocker in the tip, 2 mm of camber underfoot, 300 mm of rocker in the tail. Very smooth transition from rocker to camber. Allows the skis to easily navigate whatever is in front of them.

Dual Radius Sidecut - Smaller radius in the tip with a larger radius in the tail. This gives the skis quick response and control, without sacrificing stability all-the-way through the turn.

Additional Awesomeness

Transition Zones - These zones make the rocker and camber areas feel like they’re blending together. This makes the skis super easy to maneuver.

Silkscreen Ptex 3000 - A super fast base that is incredibly strong and durable.

Glossed Topsheet - Really helps keep the dang snow off!

Binding

The Faction Prodigy W Skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain etc.).
