Test Locations: Red Mountain BC

Picked a heck of day to test these skis last season, over 2 feet of snow dumped the night before and it had been snowing all week at Red Mountain just a couple hours North of Spokane in BC.  The super light weight Candide 5.0 with a 122 mm waist feels solid underfoot, but still bounces in and out of turns like you would want a 122 mm waisted ski to. As the day went on and ended up on trails that were a bit more skied out towards the bottom, the Candide 5.0's held their composure with the snow got chopped up. It's a powder ski that doesn't feel out of place when the snow levels go to low tide.
