The Dynastar M-Free 108 is a wider-waisted, freeride ski built to dominate a powder day or crush laps through softer snow. For a ski this wide it doesn't feel clunky or sluggish moving edge to edge. It has an energetic and lively feel underfoot allowing you to point, pivot, or swing these skis through some tight terrain if you find yourself there. On a more firm snow day, you can tell they, like you, can't wait for some fresh snow but they feel composed enough to allow you to feel confident, not nervous. They also can handle some higher speed if you find yourself mobbing through crud at the end of the day. If you have a more playful skiing style and like a ski with some real pop and energy to make your skiing feel more exciting this is a really great option.
