The DPS Alchemist Nina 99 skis suit lady shredders of all ability levels. A hybrid rocker/camber profile makes the Nina’s easy, but effective, on-trail turners. A 99 millimeter waist becomes a manageable width, for less experienced turners, when combined with DPS’ Paddle Tech Sidecut Geometry. This progressive shape provides punch-through performance in crud and slush, and allows the tips and tails to effortlessly lacerate through soft stuff. Whether it’s the technical navigation of tight steeps, or the fluid linking of on-trail turns, that turns your crank, the Nina’s dial up the stoke.

How does the Pure3 construction and Alchemist construction differ?

Basically the new construction is way more durable.  The Pure3 construction was just sidewall, the Alchemist construction has a mini-cap – this was done for durability purposes, less chipping on the top sheet.  The tail of the skis also has a tail bar to keep delaming from happening.  

Perfromance wise the Alchemist construction is going to be less nervous feeling on harder snow and at speed, this will be more noticable on super hard snow like the stuff we have here in the North East.  Otherwise still the same great ski, no con’s to the construction at all.
