This late winter release is out ahead of schedule so you die hards will be ready for when the snow flies. The original Skeleton Key keeps stacking the accolades for all mountain perfection, but this season’s has a slight twist. The Skeleton Key Twin has been introduced to the family for the shredders who spend more time in bounds than not. Twin construction serves up perfection for the park rider who enjoys riding goofy as much as regular. Full camber underfoot ties in old school style that has proven to be incredible on the hard pack and also delivers massive pop on the flats or booters. If the resort is your thing and backcountry is not, the Skeleton Key Twin is built for that lifestyle. Odds are you will probably be the only one on the mountain with this deck too…which is pretty sick!

What’s the difference between the Skeleton Key and the Skeleton Key Twin? 

Let’s keep this one nice and simple. The NEW Skeleton Key Twin is far superior for the frontside ripper who enjoys carving and lapping the park. Also, if you ride switch frequently twin construction is certainly desirable. Identical shape from the center point toward the tip and tail offers the exact performance in both directions. The original Skeleton Key is amazing in softer snow and riders who like getting off piste into the trees. Short tail and long nose helps you stay afloat on pow days and increases maneuverability.

What’s up with the shape of the tip and tail?

Boards built for inbounds riding can get a little crazy at the the tip and tail. In this case it’s mostly for aesthetics, but when in softer snow the tail will sink slightly deeper that will allow for the nose to stay afloat without requiring too much energy from the rider. Let’s be serious though...it’s for looks and it’s freaking awesome!

Camber -  Full camber for incredible pop and outstanding edge hold in all conditions.

The Channel - A channel replaces traditional mounting inserts within the board for free form adjusting that is not restricted by a 3 degree mounting plate. This system also allows the board to flex naturally and reduces overall weight.

FSC Certified Super Fly II 700g Core - A blend of stronger and lighter woods in specific locations that allows the board to have big performance with non of the weight.

Dualzone EDG - Wood grain is positioned perpendicular in two continuous zones at the toe and heel edges for added strength and edge hold.
