Assymetrically designed inside and out is what the hype is all about. The Burton Process Off-Axis Snowboard is making Delta look like chumps when it comes to takeoffs and landings. Clean pop with a specifically designed Off-Axis core transfers energy from you through the board with precision. Sections of the core are laid perpendicular at a 15 degree positive under the front foot and 15 degree negative under the back foot. Mimicking the most popular stance in the park takes your level of control to new heights. Softer than the Burton Custom Twin, yet can still pop an ollie higher than Rob Dyrdek. Construction

PurePop Camber - Flat/Camber/Flat provides a snappy powerful feel underfoot with subtle flat zones outside the feet. Early rise on both ends provides a catch free feeling that delivers awesome pop and response.

The Channel - A channel replaces traditional mounting inserts within the board for free form adjusting that is not restricted by a 3 degree mounting plate. This system also allows the board to flex naturally and reduces overall weight.

Core

FSC Certified Super II Fly 700g Core - A blend of stronger and lighter woods in specific locations that allows the board to have big performance with non of the weight.

Dualzone EDG - Wood grain is positioned perpendicular in two continuous zones at the toe and heel edges for added strength and edge hold.

Shape

Twin - Length of board and flex are identical on both ends that makes the Custom Twin a freestyler's dream come true.

Scoop - Exaggerated tip and tail scooping for a catch-free more forgiving ride on hard snow or deep pow.

Reinforcements

Off-Axis Squeezebox - A blend of thicker core sections for power and thinner sections for flex provide the perfect balance of energy. The Off-Axis puts these core sections at a 15 degree outward angle to mimic the stance of a freestyle riders for smoother take-offs and landings.

Triax - Versatile flex that offers power and stability for getting after it anyway you see fit.

Base/Edges

Sintered - A highly porous base that sucks up wax like a champion and has the durability of an M1 Abrams tank.

Frostbite Off-Axis - Edges extend out slightly underneath the binding for improved edge hold on hard snow. Slightly modified to accommodate Off-Axis technology to maximize effectiveness for park riders.

Additional Awesomeness

Infinite Ride - Burton exclusive technology to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board. Then put into a machine that breaks in the board for you, resulting in the same feel season after season.

Pro-Tip - Tapered thickness in the tip and tail to reduce swing weight for easier rotations and overall board control.
