Grabbing the Brahma 88 off the ski rack at the Blizzard tent, it feels a lot like the old brahma, it looks more like a Bonafide, due to color.  The Blizzard Brahma has always been a ski we've sold well, but it's never been our favorite, though it has been a very good ski since forever.  Testing we expected that Blizzard wasn't going to mess with a good thing too much, why would they?  The Blizzard Brahma knocked our socks off, tester after tester.  What's crazy, is when we're out testing skis, in typical New England fashion when you work with a dude who's skied something before and says it's the best thing ever you tend to hate on the ski before you're even on it. On this, though, we'd each get to the bottom and be like, ya know what dude, you were right, this thing is sick!

The Brahma 88 has way more horse power than it's predecessor.  The previous brahma was like a powerful sports car that you needed to start on a hill in 2nd gear -- it just felt sluggish.  The 2021 Brahma 88 is geared appropriately, skis way better at low speeds than the 2020 and prior year models.  The power coming out of the turn is easy enough to manage but definitely gets your blood pumping -- it's a ski that's actually exciting, it makes a boring trail more fun, there is just so much power and acceleration coming out of the turn on a groomer.  The Brahma 88 is a ski that every expert skier can appreciate, if you feel like you need more waist the new Bonafide 97 shares all the same tech.

The bar has been raised again, this is a future bench mark ski that all ski brands will be chasing.
