DIET BRAHMA

r: 19 meters @ 180 centimeters // weight: 2000 grams @ 180 centimeters // Rocker-Camber-Rocker

122 - 82 - 105

Test Locations: Pico VT, Cannon NH

The Blizzard Brahma 82 creeps into the front side waist width category in the low 80's going up against the likes of Head Supershape Titan, Volkl Deacon 84 and Rossignol Experience 84.  The Brahma 82 has a firmer feel underfoot than the Experience 84 and is a bit easier to pivot in tighter trees than than any of the skis listed. While the Titan is a frontside machine that isn't fun at all in soft snow situations, the Brahma 82 is a little more forgiving and actually versatile.

TLDR: You want to carve but you don't want to look like Johnny Racer doing it.

FAQ:

Blizzard Brahma 88 vs Blizzard Brahma 82, what’s the scoop?

The Brahma 82 is a bit quicker edge to edge and marginally more stable on harder snow at high speeds.  A bit higher of a speed limit in the Brahma 82 vs 88.  However a little more float as you could imagine with the additional surface area in the Brahma 88.

Beech/Poplar Core

Titanal + Carbon

Designed by: Blizzard // Built by: Nordica/Blizzard, Austria Factory

TLDR: Solid feeling ski underfoot, easy turn initiation, more forgiving in soft snow than other skis in comparable waist widths.

Recommended Binding: The Blizzard Brahma 82''s do NOT include a binding, the cool skis never do.
