Your search is finally over, the warmest and most affordable mitten is here. The Women’s Mercury Mitt packs some awesome technology into a surprisingly durable and affordable package. There is goat leather on the palm which is designed to be extra durable against ski edges. The back of the glove has Pertex Shield fabric that sheds water like a champ, but is also four way stretch to allow for a super comfy design. The liner on the inside has a split finger design for extra dexterity and its also removable for quick drying overnight. The high quality materials used in this glove will stand up to years of abuse and they will definitely end your search for the warmest mittens around.

Material

Goat Leather - Goat leather is used on the palm of this mitt for increased durability against the elements. The section around the thumb and index finger is double lined for extra protection.

Pretax Shield - Pertex has been making some of the lightest and most durable fabrics on the market. The Mercury Mitts have Pertex Shield fabric on the back of the hand. Pertex shield creates an excellent balance between wind/water protection and breathability to make sure your new mitts won’t be clammy.

Kevlar Thread - You may hear the Kevlar and think bullet proof vest, that wouldn’t be too far off. Dupont has been making this Kevlar fiber for years and recently it has been making its way into action sports. The Mercury Mitts have Kevlar stitching around the thumb and index finger for added durability. You should be able to notice this with the naked eye because Kevlar stitching will always be a yellow gold color.

Insulation

340g PrimaLoft Gold- These mitts have a removable liner that packs all of the gloves warmth. Primaloft Gold is used to keep you warm when wet.

Waterproofness/Breathability

Pertex Shield - Finally a stretchy fabric that offers some kind and water protection. This 10k fabric is the first line of defense.
